Camera and microphone permission
On your first match the browser requests access to your camera and microphone — allow both and you are through. Denied them before? Open your browser’s per-site settings for skibbel.live, re-enable both, and reload the page. No permission means no video — and granting it stays your choice alone; the privacy policy spells out exactly what that access reaches.
Skipping, and being skipped
The next button is always available mid-call — one tap, no penalty on either side. Skip until a conversation clicks. When someone skips you it stings for a second, but that is the format breathing, not a judgment; another face arrives almost immediately.
Where free ends and coins begin
The opening matches are on the house — no card, no form. Longer sessions may use coins, with the price shown on screen and a confirmation step before any charge. The Skibbel Free page draws the precise boundary between the free stretch and coin territory.
Reporting someone
There is a report button on every call screen. Tap it, pick a reason, and the call ends while a session summary goes to the moderation team. Reports are what keep the queue clean — not sure whether something qualifies? Report it anyway and let the team judge.
Blocking someone
Block once and that person can never be matched to you again. It takes effect at once, quietly, with nothing shown to the other side — use it freely. Blocking and reporting are strongest as a pair: one ends your problem, the other protects whoever would have been next.
Is there an app, or an account, to set up?
No to both. Everything runs in the browser, on phones and desktops alike, and your first match requires no sign-up. The Skibbel app page explains the browser setup and the optional home-screen shortcut. Still stuck? Contact us — a person will take it from there.
